DmC Devil May Cry Box Art Welcomes Your Hatred

Capcom has sent out the final box art for the Devil May Cry reboot. Those of you hoping for a miraculous last-minute change to Dante's appearance will be disappointed. There he is in all of his skinny, brunette glory.

Dante's new appearance in this game has been a source of controversy. Ninja Theory, making their first game in the series, decided to make the character more realistic. While I suspect most gamers shrugged their shoulders, a few sent death threats to the developer.

DmC: Devil May Cry is said to take place in a "parallel universe." The younger Dante must survive in Limbo City, a town infested with demons and other beasties. Other characters from previous games will make an appearance, such as Mundus and Vergil. Expect them to be redesigned as well.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 will receive DmC in January. The PC version is undated but should arrive by the end of 2013.
