In US and Canada, scores of college students are about to get booted into the harsh real world. EA is trying to make the transition suck a little less by offering their PC games on the cheap.
From now until May 9th, EA's running a special promotion through the EA Store. For every digital PC game you purchase, you'll get a 10% discount off your total. For example, buying one game will get you a 10% discount while buying two will get you 20% off. No, you can't buy 10 games and get them for 100% off - the promotion is capped at a 30% discount for three games. The fine print notes that the promo can only be applied to games that are at least 14 days old. Doesn't look like they've actually released any PC games in the past two weeks so you can pretty much grab anything in the store. The restriction sounds like a roundabout way of preventing you from pre-purchasing games that haven't been released yet, like Medal of Honor or Dead Space 2. |
