North American gamers will have to wait an extra month before they can get their hands on the game that lets you go hunting after fallen angels. Ignition Entertainment revealed that El Shaddai has hit a bit of a “logistical” snag and will be arriving on August 16th instead of July 26th.
In a brief intertview with JoyStiq Ignition’s Business Development Director, Shane Bettenhausen, admitted that the game wasn’t going to make it’s July 26th release date for the Xbox 360 and PS3 over here Stateside because of “unforeseen logistical issues”. Now that’s a first. Usually it’s because of “polish” or to iron out a few “bugs”…but no; it’s because of “logistical issues”. You have got to give the man kudos for originality. For those of you who were eager to layeth the smacketh down on some evil ‘ole angels will just have to wait for August to do so. In the meantime you can at least get in some time with other mid-card games like Call of Juarez: The Cartel and um…Captain America: Super Soldier. By the time you get done being frustrated with those games you’ll be ready to trade them in for El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. You can learn more about the game by heading on over to the Official Website. And just in case you forgot, the game is set for release on August 16th in North America and September 1st in Europe. |
