Trion Worlds' massive RTS PvP game, End of Nations will be nearing completion soon, enabling gamers to take part in some epic 50 player strategy-game throwdowns. Trion has sent out word today that the game's final closed-beta test before going open will take place on October 4th. If you're interested you can sign-up now to participate.
The game is a typical setup of nation versus nation gameplay. Just like with Command & Conquer it's up to players to build up their resources, manage bases, grow an army and then unleash massive butt-kickery onto the competition. While the premise sounds basic as a loaf of bread, check out the gameplay footage below to get an idea of just how End of Nations plays out, courtesy of YouTube user GoofScrubs. Yep, typical nation-vs-nation combat. If you enjoy pointing, clicking and PvP'ing in real-time strategy games then you'll definitely take a liking to End of Nations...especially considering that the game is free-to-play. Oh yeah, that's right, the game is free. To. Play. This is probably Trion's “hold me off” game until they can launch their next big blockbuster in April next year, Defiance. The game looks all right but the real hook is the tie-in with the Syfy TV show of the same name, which could prove to be interesting. Oh right, but this article isn't about Defiance. Anyway, you can learn more about End of Nations, the units, the story, the multiplayer aspects and the sign-up process by paying a visit to the Official Website. Back to top
