Epic Mickey 2's Marvin Wolfman Explains How To Tell A StoryAuthor: William Usher

A short and sweet new developer diary was released from Junction Point Studios and Disney Interactive and it's basically about how famed comic book writer and animation storyteller Marvin Wolfman was contracted to work with Warren Spector and Junction Point in bringing Epic Mickey 2's story and characters to life.
The dev diary does a nice job of keeping the pace brisk and light and very animated and colorful. As many of us know, dev diaries can easily devolve into a lot of technical jargon that whizzes over the heads of most gamers and it kind of leaves you questioning “What did I just watch and why on Earth would I want to buy that game?” Wolfman and crew do just the opposite, giving players an honest look at Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two and keeping most of it focused on how the story for the game can draw players in and keep them entertained. Check it out below. Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two aims to improve on everything featured in the original Epic Mickey, bringing with it a little bit of co-op along the way. The design team also received a level up, featuring a staff of several hundred. The game looks to be coming along rather nicely and given that it's no longer a Wii exclusive it will be interesting to note how well the game sells as a multiplatform title. Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is set for release this fall for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and Nintendo 3DS. For more info feel free to visit the Official Website. Back to top
