FIFA 13 Career Mode Screenshots Take To The PitchAuthor: William Usher

EA released brand new screenshots for the upcoming football game (known as soccer to us Yanks) and the shots detail the game’s career mode, giving players an ever-so-slight glimpse at what it’s like to become a world famous soccer player (and that’s football to all you non-Yanks out there).
The career mode is pretty deep and has everything you would expect from managing a club for the world’s most popular sport. Players will take their team through a number of tours and dates against the small teams, the big teams, celebrated teams and bitter rivals. Instead of simply scheduling matches and playing a game where you primarily use your feet to actually kick the ball around on the pitch as opposed to carrying it around like another sport with the same name. Anyways, the game lets you take on opposition in cub matches, international matches, talk to press and perform other duties required of the manager to bring the team up to star-quality status. The career mode will also put players in control of managing the players on their team, formations, team tactics even what they wear to the field. The options are definitely limitless as the game basically goes knee-deep in depth when it comes to options and playability; it’s sort of like a not-quite-as-scripted version of THQ and Yuke’s WWE titles. FIFA 13 is due out for home consoles and PC this year. You can check out the new screenshots below or pay a visit to the Official Website to learn more. Back to top
