Foosball 2012 Spinning Onto PS3, Vita Next Week

Now, I know mama told you that you couldn’t play foosball, but what mama don’t know can’t hurt her. Just wait until July 24, make sure she’s gone to bet, fire up your PlayStation 3 or Vita, and jump in on all that arcade action with the release of Foosball 2012.

Grip Games CEO Jakub Mikyska dropped by the PlayStation Blog recently to fill everyone in on the last remaining details for their upcoming foosball title, namely the release date (which I just gave you) and the price tag (which I’m about to give you).

When Foosball 2012 drops next week, players will be able to pick it up for $7.99. That single price will grant access to both the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions of the game, and Plus Subscribers will have a crack at both for a discounted price of just $5.99.

Foosball 2012 will feature multiple playing fields, game modes and the ability to take your matches online. There are even cross-play options, allowing you to enjoy a united experience across both the console and handheld versions of the game. You can use the PlayStation Move to control the game on the PS3 and, according to a comment from Mikyska, both versions of the game will have a demo releasing as well.
