University of Kansas sophomore wide receiver Dezmon Briscoe had a monster season, racking up 1,206 yards and 12 touchdowns. What's the secret to his success? Conditioning? Coaching? Nope - Madden NFL 09.
Briscoe told the Kansas City Star that his marked improvement from the previous season is due to the changes between Madden NFL 08 and Madden NFL 09. "In Madden 2008, they didn’t really roll their coverages as much," said Briscoe. “They roll their defenses now. The game systems these days are just crazy. Me playing Madden, it helps me read the defense on the field.” Whatever works for you, Dezmon. He just had the most prolific season for a UKansas receiver ever so it's tough to argue with the man. This is the first time in a while I've heard someone gushing about changes between installments of Madden, though. |
