A Game Of Dwarves Trailer Depicts Life As A Dwarf

Paradox Interactive's colorfully robust strategy game A Game of Dwarves just received a new trailer showcasing some of the various types of dwarves that will be at your disposal...or er, care-taking.

The game enables players to groom warriors, scientists, diggers and lackadaisical loiters. You can check out the life of a dwarf in the trailer below and see how well the game comes together.



The art-style is quite snazzy and I like the idea that they went with a more poignant depiction of the dwarves and their underground fortress as opposed to anything super-realistic or hyper-stylized. The minimalist approach seems to lend itself to focusing on the gameplay as opposed to saying “Look at how pretty they made that trash...man, that's some beautiful trash.”
