Game Party Champions Coming To Wii U This Holiday Season

Nintendo is trying to woo hardcore gamers with the Wii U but the console will have its share of casual gaming experiences as well. One prime example is Game Party Champions from Warner Bros. Interactive Enteertainment.

Playing Game Party Champions is like going to a rec center or Chuck E. Cheese. You can play games like ping pong or air hockey. Football and basketball arcade games are shown in the screenshots as well.

Game Party has three different modes. Quick Play lets you dive right into any of the minigames. Story Mode presumably makes you play through event in sequence, in a bit to become "World Champion." Party Mode is geared toward multiplayer. One player uses the Wii U GamePad, while everyone else uses Wii Remote controllers to grief them in some unknown way.

WB promises that Game Party will be available by Christmas. The exact launch date depends on when Nintendo actually gets the Wii U into stores.
