GamesCom 2010: Jagged Alliance 2: Reloaded Coming Next Year

The 1999 strategy game Jagged Alliance 2 is getting a facelift. A remake, Jagged Alliance 2: Reloaded, is currently in development for unknown platforms.

Reloaded will feature the same basic gameplay as the original. It will differ dramatically in its presentation, though. The new user interface and 3D graphics are shown in comparison screenshots below. The remake is also said to have an extended tutorial to help players learn the ropes.

This is the second JA game announced in as many days. Yesterday bitComposer Games revealed that a browser-based Jagged Alliance is in development.
