GDC 2011: Tropico 4 Coming In August To Xbox 360 And PC

Kalypso Media released the official debut trailer for Tropico 4, which is aimed at hitting digital distributors and retail shelves this August for the Xbox 360 and PC. The game will feature brand new maps, new campaigns, new obstacles and new diplomatic (or despotic) endeavors.

As stated in the press release…

Tropico 4 is the latest game in the wildly successful, award-winning Tropico series and sees players resume their reign as El Presidente, the iron-fisted ruler of the small island nation of Tropico. Tropico 4 will challenge players to negotiate with new global super powers, while dealing with interactive natural disasters and pushing through their own edicts via the new national council features.

The new game will sport 20 new campaign missions and 10 brand new maps for players to conquer, rule and control. Tropico 4 will also introduce new social sharing features with integration from Twitter and Facebook. You can now show off your friends that you have always been a tyrannical fascist!
