Gears Of War: Judgment Gameplay Videos Take You To Gondola, Library

Today Microsoft and Epic Games provided the first gameplay footage from Gears of War: Judgment's Free-For-All mode. This game type, in which individual players battle for dominance, is a first for the long-running series.

The new gameplay videos show off two maps. The first, Gondola, takes place in and around the plush Coastal Villa Apartments. The titular gondola can carry players along the length of this hilly community. Using this transportation will obviously leave you vulnerable to enemy fire, though.

The second map, Library, is set in the Alexiy Desipich Memorial Library. The building is an archive dedicated to the politician and philosopher responsible for the founding document of the Coalition of Ordered Governments. "Library" is a much more close-quarters map than Gondola so players will get plenty of use out of their Lancer's chainsaw.

Free-For-All mode will be playable this week at PAX Prime in Seattle. To try it out for yourself, stop by booth #412.
