Today Microsoft officially revealed the Gears of War bundle that was hinted at by retailer websites. The Gears of War Triple Pack will be released in the U.S. on February 15th.

The bundle includes both Gears of War and Gears of War 2. Microsoft also threw in the Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection DLC compilation, with a bonus campaign chapter and 19 multiplayer maps. Map Pack 1 and the "Hidden Fronts" Map Pack from the first Gears of War aren't included but can be downloaded from Xbox Live for no additional charge.

All together, you're getting 38 multiplayer maps and 61 single-player chapters. It's cheap, too, - $29.99 - so it seems like a good way for you Johnny-come-latelies to prepare for Gears of War 3.
