Georges St-Pierre Teaches Butt-Kickery In New Sleeping Dogs Trailer

Ever wondered what it would be like to get the crap kicked out of you by UFC welterweight champ and mixed martial arts superstar Georges St-Pierre? Thanks to the latest trailer from Square Enix's upcoming Sleeping Dogs, you can do exactly that.

Designed to show off the real-world combat utilized within Sleeping Dogs, this latest trailer starts off something like The Karate Kid, with sensei St-Pierre sharing some of the finer points of combat and explaining the importance of out-thinking your opponent before you can worry about out-fighting them.

In the final moments, though, clips from the game become interspersed with shots of GSP laying the smackdown on the camera from a first-person perspective, giving the distinct impression that the legendary fighter has gone to work on rearranging your face.

St-Pierre serving as combat consultant for Sleeping Dogs should help inject the brawls with a nice sense of authenticity. We can find out for ourselves when it releases on August 17. Until then, here's that trailer I promised.
