Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Arctic Strike Pack Gets A Release Date

Next week Ubisoft will release the first downloadable content pack for their tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The title, "Arctic Strike Map Pack," makes me want to fill the rest of this article with winter-themed language.

The Arctic Pack increases the progression cap by a cool 10 levels. It features an avalanche of new content, including three multiplayer maps, a guerrilla co-op map, and a chilling "Stockade" mode. Six new weapons, three for each class, will help you ice any enemies in your way. The new set of Achievements will prove harder than a frost-bitten - alright, I'll stop.

The new content is priced at 800 MS Points. In real money terms, that's $9.99. It'll be available on July 17th for all platforms.

You can pre-order the DLC through GameStop or Best Buy for reasons completely unclear to me. Seriously, no one's explained the reasoning behind DLC pre-orders.
