GhostBusters Packs Some Cooperative Punches For Wii

published: 2009-04-01 18:02:21
Everyone knew the Wii and PS2 wasn’t going to be receiving the same kind of Ghostbusters game that was going to be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360. However, that didn’t mean that it would be a bootleg, half-heck version of a play experience. Red Fly Studios is actually aiming to do just the opposite and they’re using the multiplayer as a way to do it.

Co-Optimus recently had an interview session with Red Fly Studios about the upcoming Ghostbusters game, which will conveniently release on time for the 25th anniversary of the franchise.

In the interview, Dustin Dobson, Creative Lead from Red Fly Studio, talks about how players can use tag-team tactics on ghosts as well as using customized characters from start to finish in the cooperative campaign. It’s an interesting read in that it finally snuffs out the dark cloud hovering over the Wii verion of Ghostbusters. That doesn’t excuse why it still has eye-pummeling graphics, but oh well.

You can check out the full interview over at Co-Optimus. Ghostbusters will be available for major gaming consoles this summer. For more gaming news, info, updates and insight, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games
