Today Warner Bros. Interactive revealed when players will be able to get their hands on downloadable shooter Gotham City Impostors. They've revealed the release date for the full game as well as the launch window for the open beta.

Impostors will be released through Xbox LIVE, PSN, and digital PC retailers on January 10th. The open beta is scheduled for December. You can register for the beta by heading to the game's website.

In Gotham City Impostors, players take on the role of ordinary Gotham citizens who have decided to impersonate Batman or Joker. These gangs of Bats and Jokerz fight in locations across the city with a variety of gadgets and weapons. Players will have a wealth of customization options so they can create their personalized character.

Impostors is being developed by Monolith Productions, the studio responsible for the F.E.A.R. series.
