GTA Online Title Update Released, Free Cash Coming Next Week
Rockstar has implemented a new title update for Grand Theft Auto Online this morning. The patch, available on both Xbox 360 and PS3, cleans up a few lingering issues.
GTA Online, the free multiplayer companion to GTA 5, has unexpectedly been wiping players' progress since launch. While many of those bugs were addressed in a previous patch, today's update tries to stop vehicles and vehicle mods from disappearing. Rockstar says that this particular problem was due to cloud saves failing.
The patch also tackles many other sticking points in the game. For example, players weren't able to pay the utility bills on their in-game homes, join crews, or start the tutorial race. Those problems, along with general stability issues like black screens or long load times, should be less of an issue once you download the update. Here are the full list of changes in today's patch:
"We're aiming to make the first deposit of $250,000 in all players accounts early next week once we've confirmed that any remaining game progress issues have been fixed for the community in this latest title update," the company said. "Thanks for understanding and stay tuned to the Newswire for more details."
In the meantime, if you're still encountering issues with the game, you can contact Rockstar through their customer support twitter or troubleshooting website.
