Guild Wars 2 Halloween Event Starts Tomorrow, Gameplay Video Released

ArenaNet is about to release the "Shadow of the Mad King" update for their MMORPG Guild Wars 2. They've sent out a fresh trailer showing off the Halloween festivities that this patch will bring to the game.

"Shadow of the Mad King" provides new activities for players, such as dynamic events and minigames. ArenaNet previously mentioned some sort of epic, four-part adventure as well. Additionally, players will be able to buy new Halloween-themed costumes to help them get in the holiday spirit.

While the holiday events are the focus of this trailer, they're not the only thing included in the update. ArenaNet will also be launching premium PvP tournaments. These 5v5 competitions can only be entered if you pay tickets. These tickets can be won through normal tournaments or bought at the gem store.

The "Mad King" update will go live on October 22nd. The holiday festivities will last until October 31st.
