The launch of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock has hit a bit of a snag. Some gamers are experiencing an unreadable disc error when trying to play it.

If your disc is defective, Activision encourages you to call their custom support line at 800-225-6588. They told Joystiq that they will "offer existing customers free replacement discs in exchange for any purchased defective disc." You'd have to wait for them to mail it out to you, though, which sucks.

Warriors of Rock was released for the PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 on Tuesday in North America. It's not clear which versions of the game this error applies to.
