Guns Of Icarus Online Debut TrailerAuthor: William Usher

Remember that indie browser-based co-op game called Guns of Icarus? Well, Muse Games is taking that concept a step further and doing things within the genre that few other companies are doing: making a steampunk, MMO airship co-op game.
Players will venture around a post-apocalyptic world controlled by bandits, air-pirates and aerial raiders. Bartering goods and scavenging for tradable items becomes one of the main goals of the game, all while flying through hostile territories. The real meat and potatoes of the game is in the cooperative mechanics that sees multiple players operating the air ship to fend off pirates and fight off other airships for survival. Players will need to work together to repair damaged parts, fire the cannons and helm the controls. The game is very similar to the airship mechanics from Allods Online, except I doubt it takes six hours to travel to different destinations in Guns of Icarus the way it is on Allods. Muse's new title is still heavy in development and you can subscribe to the newsletter for updates and news regarding progress of the game, as well as when beta sign-ups will get underway.
