Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn's Final Preview Introduces The Squad

343 Industries rolled out the last preview for live-action series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. This teaser introduces Hastati Squad, a group of cadets at UNSC's Corbulo Academy of Military Science.

The video consists of several short interviews with the recruits. It attempts to introduce seven characters in a mere two minutes so it feels sort of rushed. It's tough to get a full read on the characters. I suppose 343 doesn't want to give too much away before the series actually starts, though.

At the outset of the series, Hastati Squad and the rest of the academy are training to fight in a civil war. What they don't know, though, is that an even bigger threat is on the way. The series depicts the outset of the war between Humans and the Covenant, the conflict at the heart of the Halo series.

Forward Unto Dawn's first episode will debut on Friday, October 5th, on Halo Waypoint as well as Machinima Prime.
