Halo 4 Ragnarok Trailer Shows Mantis Mech Battles

Recent screenshots for Halo 4 revealed a new mech vehicle called the Mantis. Now a trailer has arrived that shows this war machine in action.

The Mantis appears to be armed with a machine gun and rocket launcher, making it ideal for fighting both vehicles and infantry. It's not enormous so it can reach most places on the battlefield. Also, as the video shows, the Mantis can teabag dead enemies. For all these reasons, it's going to be a very sought-after vehicle in multiplayer matches.

The mech is far from invulnerable, though. Enemy players can climb on it and toss a grenade through its hatch if they get close enough. Furthermore, it's not as quick as many of the other vehicles so it's an easy target to hit.

The map featured in the trailer might look familiar. It's called Ragnarok and is a remake of Valhalla, a Halo 3 map. Ragnarok takes place in a canyon with a river and many rocky outcroppings.
