343 Industries and Microsoft Game Studios released the official launch trailer for the remake of the decade old Bungie game, Halo: Combat Evolved. The Halo: Anniversary trailer shows off a mix of in-game play as well as cinematics.
Due out on November 15th, Halo: Anniversary is a direct retelling of the classic Xbox title that started a first-person shooter phenomenon on consoles (for better or for worse). You can check out the official launch trailer for the game below. For those of you wondering what the highlight of the game is other than high-end visuals, there’s a complete redo of the campaign and multiplayer maps from Halo: Combat Evolved that allows players to experience the maps the way Bungie designed them and how 343 Industries envisioned the way they were supposed to be. In addition to all the “redoing” there’s also the new option to play Halo: Anniversary online with up to 15 other friends in competitive multiplayer modes on many of the classic maps, or team up with a friend and do the co-op mode online. You can look for Halo: Anniversary to hit store shelves November 15th for $39.99 exclusively on the Xbox 360. For more information on the game feel free to visit the Official Website. |
