Hawken Gameplay Montage Isn't For The Faint of Heart

Adhesive Games provided a new gameplay montage this week to commemorate E3. The montage shows off some thrilling mech combat but it might not be the best thing to watch if you're hungover.

As your mech moves or turns, the cockpit shakes. While this gives the mech a "weighty" feeling, it can be a little dizzying. I'm wondering whether that visual effect can be turned off. It's not the sort of artistic touch I'd appreciate on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

In Hawken, a colony world has been all but drained of natural resources. Armed factions battle for control of what little remains. Players take on the role of mech pilots and duke it out in both free-for-all and team-based modes.

Adhesive plans to launch Hawken on December 12th of this year. You can sign up for the beta at the official website.
