Hawken Team Deathmatch Gameplay Trailer ReleasedAuthor: William Usher

A new video of in-game team deathmatch play of Adhesive Games' Hawken has come online. Gamers get to see some mechs get destroyed, some mechs get repaired and some mechs flying around a cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic city.
The gameplay is pretty fast and furious to be a mech game, and if you're comfortable with fast-paced, MOFPS games such as Sudden Attack, Combat Arms or CrossFire then you'll feel at home with Hawken, which sports liquid-smooth gameplay despite players being in control of mammoth vertical-tanks that would probably cost enough damage to the city to rival JFK's hooker bill. You can check out the new video below, courtesy of GameTrailers. After seeing that video I am a little worried about Hawken stepping into a genre that's already heavily populated with a lot of F2P shooters and will be flooded with some exceptionally high-quality shooters this year as well. One of the highlights of Hawken, though, is that the customization is pretty rad and the options for individualizing your mech isn't limited to stats, so you don't have to worry about looking like a clone of a thousand and one other players because the ugliest parts have the best stats or whatnot. Instead, all cosmetic options are purely cosmetic and they don't actually affect performance in game. Hawken is scheduled to release later this year exclusively for PC on December 12th.
