Reto-Moto's upcoming World War II, free-to-play, tactical, RTS-FPS, Heroes & Generals, has been announced as a Steam Greenlight project. We've covered the title quite a bit here at Gaming Blend and Reto is planning on taking the next big step by getting right proper exposure on one of the most popular digital distribution services in the world.
There's a very friendly message sent in an e-mail to Heroes & Generals players, simply stating that... Well, we really want to publish Heroes & Generals on Steam, so please help us by going to our Steam Greenlight Profile, and vote for Heroes & Generals, by pressing the THUMBS UP BUTTON! I get the feeling we'll be covering a lot more games aiming to get greenlit than actual game announcements. But the project has definitely aimed a spotlight on a sector of the industry where there are just a ton of games no one has ever heard of but deserve a little love and attention. Heroes & Generals can best be described as a World War II rendition of Battlefied meets a Sid Meier's strategy game. There's an active dynamic involved where real-time events taking place on the ground affect what's happening on the overworld map. Players will have to think strategically and dynamically on how to expend and use resources in order to push their side to victory. It's cool concept attached to an awesome game. If Heroes & Generals seems like the kind of game you'd like to play with your friends via Steam, feel free to learn more and give an upvote to Reto-Moto's title on the Official Steam Greenlight Page.
