Hitman: Absolution Gameplay Video Shows One Full Mission

Square Enix dropped a 17-minute gameplay video for Hitman: Absolution on us today. It shows Agent 47 raising hell on the streets of Hope, North Dakota.

Agent 47's ultimate target in this mission is a local gang leader named Lenny. In order to get to him, 47 will have to quietly make his way through the town and take out Lenny's fellow gang members. He uses a mixture of stealth-kills, disguises, and good ol' fashioned sneakin' to accomplish his mission.

This video only shows one possible play-through for the level but Hitman games generally give players a bit of leeway. You can accomplish missions with a variety of tactics, stealthy and otherwise. The guns blazing approach is generally a crapshoot, though.

This is the first Hitman game that IO Interactive has developed in 6 years. It seems like they've maintained the basic formula that made the series so popular in the first place, though. It looks good enough to make us forget their two Kane and Lynch games.
