Holy Avatar Vs Maidens Of The Dead Due Out This September

Headup Games and Silent Dreams are working on a new game set within the Grotesque Tactics universe and the title is called Holy Avatar Vs Maidens of the Dead. The game is set for release this September and to accompany the game's announcement a few debut screenshots were released to give gamers an idea of what the game will be like.

Isometric hack-and-slash, loot-grinding RPGs really seem to be all the rage. I'm guessing if Diablo III didn't have so many problems, a lot of these games would have been left to the backwood distribution sectors of the gaming industry and the digital no-mans-land that usually accompanies genre-clones (i.e., all those Call of Duty clones out there are waving at you right now).

Fortunately for other dev studios out there, such as Headup Games and Silent Dreams, the huge disappointment that was Real-Money Auction House: The Game™ a lot of other ARPGs are seeing a boost in interest as gamers seek out a true alternative and successor to Diablo II. With Holy Avatar Vs Maidens of the Dead, gamers will get a more jocular approach to the goth-style isometric adventure tale, as players will assume the role of Holy Avatar who investigates a series of grizzly mutilations of the Guild of Maidens. As usual, there is ironic humor and a great evil at the end of things, but it's up to players to piece it all together.
