Hulu Plus Now On Wii

Hulu Plus, the premium version of the streaming entertainment service, is now available for the Wii. Wii owners can watch television shows and movies through the console by paying $7.99 a month.

"Wii offers the most entertainment fun for everyone in the family, with an impressive selection of streaming movies and TV shows in addition to an unparalleled lineup of games that canít be played anywhere else," said Tony Elison, Nintendo of Americaís senior director and general manager of Network Business. "The Wii console is the hub of the living room, and with the addition of Hulu Plus, millions of households now have even more options for streaming premium TV shows and movies."

Hulu offers streaming episodes from the current season of major network shows like Family Guy, The Office and Glee. Episodes from previous seasons are available through the service as well for certain shows. Users can also access hundreds of films.

The Hulu Plus app can be downloaded through the Wii Shop Channel for free. If you don't have a Hulu Plus account yet, you'll get a two-week free trial. The free trial will only be offered this month.

Hulu also has plans to release their service on the 3DS. Look for Hulu Plus to hit the handheld later this year.
