The demo for Sucker Punch's inFamous is no longer surrounded by a velvet rope and a 300-pound bouncer. You can now download it through PSN regardless of whether you pre-ordered the game.

The demo allows you to play four missions from the full game. Each mission is timed and when that timer runs out, you'll be sent to the next one. The game's one of them open-ended sandbox types so they had to impose an artificial limit on the demo or else people would just keeping playing it instead of buying the game.
Pre-order customers have been able to play the demo since May 7th. inFamous will be released on May 26th in North America and May 29th in Europe. Early copies of the game contain a voucher for entry into the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves multiplayer beta.
