Sony has released some new footage of their upcoming open-world, pseudo-super hero game, inFamous. The new trailer is basically a montage of the fictional Empire City and how the hero (or villain) can make use of the vast concrete playground.

The PlayStation 3 exclusive is due out this summer and features all kinds of snazzy gameplay features: vertical scaling of buildings, pipes and other objects, a variety of electric charged attacks and even aerial flying. It’s a cool looking game and even cooler trailer that they released for it.

The Empire City Trailer is definitely and easily a nominee for one of the coolest game trailers of 2009. Once you see it you’ll be hard-pressed to disagree. The gameplay montage is compiled excellently…giving gamers an unparalleled look at this upcoming, open-world action game.
