inFamous: Festival of Blood, a standalone entry in the super hero sandbox series, is now available through PSN. You can download the vampire-themed adventure for $9.99, or $7.99 if you're a PlayStation Plus member.

Festival of Blood is a non-canon story that depicts a vampire invasion of New Marais. It's framed as a story Zeke tells a girl in a bar. Super hero Cole MacGrath has been bitten and must save the city and himself by killing the head vampire in one night. Fortunately, he'll have some new supernatural powers to make the job easier.

"About the same time [we were making Festival of Blood, we had some promising PlayStation Move prototypes running," said Sucker Punch's Brian Fleming. "We’d initially thought we would use Move to support UGC authors–but as we progressed, we became convinced we could make the game fully playable with Move. So Move shifted to become a core gameplay feature, and our UGC team decided to tackle our next big wishlist item – “speech bubble” cutscenes. Like making narrative missions? Now you get set-up camera shots and add speech bubbles to characters!"

The launch trailer for the downloadable adventure is below.
