Indie Royale's Summer Bundle has officially kicked off, giving gamers everywhere a chance to pick up nine indie titles at a “name your own price” rate, with the ability to earn yourself a free chiptune CD, too.
The Summer Bundle went live this morning and, as of this writing, more than 2,500 individuals have already taken advantage of this great deal. The bundle will only be available for a week and, at present, the current average minimum price paid for these nine games is $5.54.
That means the majority of folks aren't interested in adding a new CD to their library, which is a real shame. If you pay at least $8 for the Summer Bundle, you'll also net yourself the Pixeljams Volume 1 album featuring loads of electronic music to play games to or annoy your parents with.
Once you buy the games, you'll either be able to download them directly or get yourself a redemption code for gaming services Steam or Desura. After that, the games are yours to play to your heart's content.
And what about those games? The Summer Bundle includes a little something from everyone, including FPS fans, tower defense nuts, puzzle hounds and adventure fiends. This latest bunlde includes Harvest: Massive Encounter, The Journey Down: Chapter One, Serious Sam 2, Gundemonium Recollection, GundeadliGne, Hitogata Happa, Accelaration of Suguri X-Edition, Dino Run SE and access to the beta for upcoming top-down strategy game, AirMech.
You can head on over the the Summer Bundle site to find out more about each game. Clicking on the game's title will take you to a separate page with loads of info and a trailer for each title, too. After that, dig down deep and get to gaming.
