Game creators, artists, independent designers, software engineers and everyone else in between has been encouraged by IndieCade to submit their projects in for the international 2011 Festival, which celebrates independent game design, creation and artistic expression.
Creators working on cutting edge independent projects have up until June 15th to submit something, which sort of means that it’s time to put it into high gear if your project isn’t anywhere near completion. Projects that do make the IndieCade deadline will move on for further consideration at a judge’s panel taking place between October 6th and October 9th, 2011. As stated in the press release… Mirroring the successful format of its 2010 festival, IndieCade 2011 will once again be held in multiple venues across downtown Culver City (Los Angeles), actively reaching a diverse audience comprised of savvy professionals interested in cutting-edge digital media, game developers, artists, publishers, and enthusiasts of all ages. The festival program is open to the public and includes gallery exhibitions featuring top finalist games selected by an internationally renowned jury, as well as artist presentations and illuminating talks. If you think you have the next big PC, iOS, mobile or console project that could turn the industry on its head and need a big enough platform to showcase this idea, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to finish it up and submit before June 15th. If you need help or assistance in translating a project, feel free to check out the Official IndieCade Website for assistance. |
