Epic and Chair released the entire opening cinematic for Infinity Blade II, which is mostly just some talking and a lot of visual eye-candy on display, as the power of the Unreal Engine gets some legwork on Apple’s latest iPhone.

Infinity Blade II picks up from the last game with players having possession of the legendary blade, prompting Deathless hunters to come searching for the protagonist. The video sets the stage for what’s bound to be an action-packed hack-and-slash thrill-ride from start to finish.



Graphically the game looks pretty darn good, almost on par of what you’d expect from a low-end Xbox 360 title. The latest iPhone definitely trumps the Wii when it comes to graphics but it’s not quite on par to the PS3 yet. This game will probably continue to fuel the debate that eventually iPhones will murderize home consoles. Still, until the iPhone gets a game on par to Uncharted 3 there’s still a ways to go.
