Jeremy McGrath's Offroad Crashes Onto PSN Tuesday

Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad is coming to PlayStation Network next Tuesday, TUESDAY, TUESDAY!!! Do you like buggies, trucks and rally cars, tearing onto your television screen in 1080p, at 60 frames per heart-stopping second? Does your idea of heaven include plowing through the sand and the muck at breakneck speeds? Then you’ll want to be buckled up and strapped in for this digitally-released racer next Tuesday, TUESDAY, TUESDAY!!!

2XL Games Creative Director Robb Rinard dropped by the PlayStation Blog to dish all of the details, priming everyone for the developer’s latest off-road romp, coming directly to the PlayStation Network on June 26.

Rinard touts the on-dirt driving physics, saying that learning to properly slide through the turns is half of the fun, making for a lightning-fast arcade racing experience being brought to your TV in full 1080p with Dolby 5.1 surround sound.

“We call it ‘liquid color’ because everything flows fluidly past you once you hit top speed,” Rinard said. “Keep upgrading your top speed, because the faster you go, the more visceral your experience.”

So, if I’m reading this correctly, Rinard is encouraging us to go very, very fast in Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad? That seems like a rather unsafe life decision if you ask me but, if Rinard is preaching it, I suppose we’ll just have to listen to his sage advice.

Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad features a full single player campaign with a variety of vehicles to choose from and upgrade on your race for the finish line. There’s also an eight-player online offering with full leaderboards.

All of this can be yours for $9.99 on the PlayStation Network next Tuesday…TUESDAY, TUESDAY!!!
