Sega's HD port of the popular niche game for the Sega Dreamcast has finally received a final stamp of pricing approval and a release date window for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. Gamers will be able to pick up the rollerblading game about causing a raucous while spraying graffiti all over the city starting September 18th for PS3 and September 19th for Xbox 360 and Steam. The game is scheduled to carry a $9.99 price tag which is equivalent to 800 MS Points.
According to Game Ranx, PlayStation Plus members will be able to nab the game a week earlier than everyone else starting September 11th. So in this case it really does pay off to pay more. This is definitely a game for anyone who enjoys off-beat miscellaneous adventure titles. Jet Set Radio sports races, graffiti tag, bad guy mobs and plenty of stunts, flips and tricks that can be performed all across the city. Personally, I liked Jet Set Radio Future better simply because it had a ton of characters, lots of unlockable content (content that would easily be paid DLC if it were released this gen) and enough stages, environments and challenges to keep a gamer busy for ages. Although, I'm pretty sure if Jet Set HD does well for consoles and PC we'll be seeing a nice little port of Jet Set Radio Future HD coming to consoles and PC as well.
