If EA and 38 Studios’ upcoming action-RPG hasn’t been on your radar it’s probably because you haven’t seen the combat in the game yet. A new video walkthrough was released to show off some of the different styles and techniques afforded to players.

There are a number of different weapons in the game, each with their own unique style of combat and combination moves that can be mixed and matched with one another. What’s more is that since the game actually has a focus on combat players can utilize things such as stealth attacks, air-juggles and combining magic with melee strikes to create devastating results.



For the most part, Reckoning seems to be more a combat focused version of Dragon Age…while the fighting techniques don’t look quite as unique as CD Projekt’s The Witcher 2, it at least ventures to give gamers a slightly more action-oriented experience attached to their RPG experience as opposed to just tapping the attack button and hoping the hit/miss roll dice falls in your favor.
