Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition Details Revealed

It may be hard to believe, but it’s been a full 20 years since the round pink wonder known as Kirby first came onto the scene and stole many-a gamer’s heart. What started in 1992 with Kirby’s Dream Land for the original Game Boy portable console continues today as full details are released for the upcoming Wii U title Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition.

Offering six games on a single disc, along with a bunch of additional goodies, Kirby is turning 20 in style with the impending release of his latest Wii title. No release date has been given yet.

“Kirby is recognized around the world as a character that embodies imaginative family fun,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive VP of sales and marketing. “This special collection is a fitting way to commemorate his first 20 years as a true gaming hero.”

Nintendo has confirmed that this massive collection will retail for just $39.99.
