The new game from BitMonster Games is called Lily and it's designed for iOS devices. The title is an adventure RPG hybrid that features enhanced retina display, seven times the power of previous gen mobile devices and is powered by none other than Epic's Unreal Engine 3. The graphically impressive title is also scheduled to go live on the App Store beginning September 21st.
Lee Perry, president of BitMonster commented in the press release about the game, saying...
“We are extremely excited to be able to bring Lili to new iPod touch ,” ... “On the stunning 4-inch Retina display we are able to create a truly cinematic hand-held experience. The new graphics hardware allows us to bring a visual fidelity that is unmatched and we can't wait to share this amazing new character with the world."
The game looks remarkably polished and could easily double down as a high-end PC adventure title. BitMonster is composed of several former Epic chaps and birds so they definitely have experience with game design. BitMonster also signed a multi-title licensing deal with Epic to publish several key titles using the Unreal Engine 3.
You can check out the game in a brief teaser below.
The story itself follows Lili as she journeys across the island of Geos on a quest of self-discovery while also defeating enemies using a “non-combative” resolution system. Pacifists and parent groups probably read that with music in their ears.
You can look for Lili to launch on iOS devices beginning September 21st. For more information on the game feel free to visit the Official Website.
