Mafia II: Joe’s Adventures DLC Announced

Today 2K Games provided details on a third downloadable content pack for Mafia II. "Joe's Adventures" will be available for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 later this year.

The DLC is played from the perspective of Joe Barbaro, gangster and best friend to Mafia II protagonist Vito Scaletta. The exact timeframe for the DLC is a bit of a spoiler*. Suffice to say, it takes place in the middle of the main campaign rather than after it.

In addition to new story-based missions, "Joe's Adventures" will also add a bunch of optional side missions to the game world. As with the "Jimmy's Vendetta," these optional missions will score you based on your performance and rank you on online leaderboards. Rounding out the new content pack are new music, clothing, and collectibles.

*SPOILER ALERT: The DLC takes place while Vito is in prison.
