Max Payne 3 Hostage Negotiation DLC Available Now

The Max Payne 3 Hostage Negotiation DLC has finally been made available, bolstering everyone's online experience on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC with new maps, weapons and gear for your avatar.

Rockstar Games has announced that the Hostage Negotiation Pack is available now for $9.99 on PSN and PC, or 800 MSP for the 360.

Probably the most important aspect of the pack for people still playing Max Payne's multiplayer (those people exist, right?) is the inclusion of four brand-spanking-new maps. Players can now shoot it out in deathmatch, team deathmatch and Payne Killer game modes across Club Moderno and the O Palacio Strip Club, which Rockstar touts as being “reminiscent of the intense nightclub and stadium shootouts early on in...single player,” and the favela territories, Estadio Do Galatians and Favela Heights.

New weapons include the IA2 Assault Rifle and the M24 Sniper Rifle, as well as a new bomb suit, a heavy helmet and an intimidation mask to make your character look more badass while flying across the screen in slow motion.

The Filhos De Ogum are added as a new faction, complete with their own distinct look and accessories.
