Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Screenshots Battle Cyborgs

In Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, cyber-ninja Raiden will dice up his fair share of human mercenaries. However, he'll also be forced to go toe-to-toe with a number of cybernetic enemies both large and small.

In the images, Raiden fights a cat-like robot as well as a fellow cyber-ninja. Both enemies were previously seen in the Gamescom trailer. They look as thought they'll present much of a challenge to Raiden than inept guards.

The last shot of the bunch apparently shows a Metal Gear, the mechs central to each MG game's plot. The Metal Gear is firing off missiles at Raiden and he decides to use them as stepping stones. Presumably that's a quick-time event or cutscene.

Revengeance intends to beef up the action portion of the series' stealth-action formula. Hopefully the battles are entertaining enough to distract people from the reduced amount of sneaking.
