In case you've already plowed through Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's campaign and collection of pre-loaded VR missions, Konami is here to let you know that your fight still isn't over quite yet. Yesterday, the publisher unleashed a brand new set of 30 VR missions, exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and free until April 3.
There's a scene in Revengeance when hero Raiden talks about the type of training he went through in order to become such a ninjafied badass. A big part of that training, Raiden said, was VR training. Lots and lots and lots of VR training. While the game proper offers a nice selection of VR missions to master, Konami yesterday released a batch of 30 new challenges for those gaming on the PlayStation 3 and, yep, it's free for the next couple of weeks. In this latest batch of missions, you'll be doing everything from fighting with just your fists to mowing down pop-up enemies in a shooting gallery and guiding a dwarf gekko through a scene that looks an awful lot like Frogger. Once you've downloaded the new missions, they can be accessed at any time through the VR option in the in-game or main menu. Well, that should keep everyone busy for a while. If not, at least we nknw that this isn't the last we've seen of additional content for Revengeance. Over on the PlayStation Blog, Konami Social Media Manager Dalton Link is already tauting future additions to the DLC lineup. According to Link, the best way to stay up to date on those upcoming offerings is to keep your web browser tuned to the game's official Facebook page. Back to top
