Rock Hippo’s cartoon-style, Team Fortress-looking multiplayer shooter, MicroVolts, is on the receiving end of a new update that not only helps celebrate Oktoberfest but also adds a survival mode for those who want to test their mettle in something other than player-vs-player deathmatch.
The survival mode features wave after wave of increasingly difficult robot drones. The trick is to survive as long as you can while conserving ammunition and racking up robot kills. Howard He, President and CEO of Rock Hippo Productions had a few words to share about the new update for October, stating that… “October is more than just pumpkins and costumes, it’s also time for old world celebrations and that’s just what we are offering in this unique Oktoberfest update,” ... “We think this is a great way to kick off the latest update and hope players get a real kick out of it too.” For those who don’t know, MicroVolts is a free-to-play third-person shooter featuring miniature toys in larger-than-life environments as they fight head-on to the death. In the new update, two of the characters are on the receiving end of Bavarian-style outfits; there’s a new melee weapon available as well, in the form of a fork. You can play the game for free, all that’s required is to head on over to the Official Website to download and install MicroVolts. |
