Freebird Gamesí hit indie title, To the Moon has finally made the journey to Steam. In an ironic twist, this game all about second chances is being given a second lease on life of its own, this time being published on the biggest digital market around.
In To the Moon, players take on the role of Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts. They have devised a procedure that will give a patient a whole new life by altering their memories. The process is fatal, though, thus costing the patient more than the dollar amount tied to the procedure. Even if your new life features fame, fortune and happiness, is it worth the cost of what you have or could possibly experience? Thatís the type of question To the Moon poses on a regular basis, all wrapped in a lovely 8-bit package that harkens back to the RPG gaming days of old
Originally offered exclusively through Freebird Gamesí own website, To the Moon can now be purchased via Steam at a 20 percent discount for the game ($7.99) and game/original soundtrack combo pack ($9.99).
Even cooler is the fact that, if you purchased the game from Freebird already, you can request a Steam download of the game at no additional coast by emailing your order ID number to email@example.com.
If youíre looking for a critical darling of a game that works to reach its players on an intellectual and emotional level most titles refuse to go near, then To the Moon is a trip that might be worth taking.
