Next to Sub-Zero and Scorpion one of the most popular and well-recognized Mortal Kombat characters happens to be the hippie-looking Bruce Lee rip-off, Liu Kang. Sporting his Rambo-sized mullet and shirtless ninja gear, Liu Kang is a serious force to be reckoned with…if not for pop-cultural aesthetics at least for his kung-fu skills.

The vignette explains a little bit about Liu but nothing about his ability to wield fire in the palm of his hand. Still, no one plays Mortal Kombat with a bunch of questions about meteorological events coming out of the hands of pugilists, people just want to hit stuff really fast and you can do that in Mortal Kombat.
