I’m on the verge of saying that MotorStorm: Apocalypse could be the definitive action racer for this generation. That’s no knock on the establishment of continuity and integrity achieved by Burnout, but the team over at Evolution Studios really went over and beyond to do something as crazy as Motorstorm: Apocalypse, which looks like a super-roided up version of Disney Interactive’s Split/Second. A new developer documentary was released detailing the new vehicle types, the races, the mayhem, the story and the new night time racing mechanic.

The developer documentary is a lengthy video that clocks in at six and a half minutes of awesomeness. Most of the time in developer documentaries there’s a lot of talk and very little worth watching but the MotorStorm: Apocalypse video keeps the thrills high, the action fresh and plenty of racing on display.
